Meet the Founder
Hi! My name is Aleksandr Feoktistov, and I’m the founder of Pearls of Dar. For the past 5 years, I’ve been working in the home decor industry, managing my home textile brand. Now, I’m proud to introduce you to my new endeavor: a UAE-based brand specializing in art and home decor.
I’ve been living in the UAE for 2 years and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunities and quality of life this country offers. So, as my own mission to create unique products that bring warmth and coziness into homes, I finally launched my second project in the UAE along with our Pearls of Nar candle and home decor project.
Pearls of Dar is an interior art studio where we create textured, sculptural and contemporary art pieces that blur the line between art and architecture.
Our works are inspired by natural forms, depth, silence, and the beauty of materiality – each piece is handcrafted using plaster, sculpting pastes, clay, and other tactile mediums.
We believe that art should not just decorate a space, but add calm, dimension, and soul. Our mission is to bring meaningful, lasting pieces into contemporary interiors – and we’re just getting started.
Meet the Artist
Valeria Gulyaeva is a contemporary artist from Siberia with an academic background in fine arts and over 8 years of experience in painting, interior art, and decorative techniques.
Her artistic journey began with classical training, where she mastered form, light, and composition through the lens of academic realism. Over the years, her hands-on experience has spanned a wide range of creative fields — from scenic set design in theater and decorative relief work, to the artistic transformation of private interiors.
Now based in Dubai, Valeria brings her refined skills and deep artistic intuition into the world of modern interior art.
Her creative philosophy lies in the delicate balance between academic precision and the freedom of abstract expression. Her works form a bridge between structure and emotion, inviting the viewer into a moment of stillness, reflection, and quiet movement.
Welcome to our studio
We’re based in the creative and industrial heart of Dubai – the vibrant Al Quoz district. In our studio we create art and candles (from our Pearls of Nar brand), both handcrafted under one roof.
Each artwork we create is made by hand, using professional-grade materials such as sculpting paste, plaster, clay, and textured compounds. We treat every piece as a one-of-a-kind project, with attention to detail and room for customization – whether it’s a specific size, mood, or style you’re looking for.
Since day one, we’ve built our studio not only as a place of creation, but also as a space for visual storytelling. That’s why we’ve equipped it with photo and video tools to document the entire process – from early sketches and material testing to the final texture on canvas.
